I am just throwing this out there: parapalooza.ghosthuntersofwi.org/There is an event in kenosha, not more than an hour and half from Chicago on May 10th. I have no idea how big it will be and whether or not it will even be a serious event and worth attending. It's definitely relatively local and if a few of the group wants to attend, let me know. I may want to go to the event just to see other groups from around the area.

This sounds like a great networking opportunity if nothing else! Is anyone else interested in having CPRS participated in this?

I think it would be a great idea to network...besides I'm hoping they have a "Parapalooza" t-shirt. That would be awesome LOL. --Cece

just thought you would like to know. They do have parapalooza t shirts available. If you order your tshirt early. You also get free admission into the event. The admission price is 5.00 in advance or 7.00 at the door. Hope to see you there!

Bootsie: RD has a cat named Bootsy...she's funny. Are you a member of the group putting on parapalooza? Can you tell us more about it? Some of us are interested in attending at least to network and see what other groups are doing.
Thanks.

Hi Mike, No we are not members of the group putting on the parapalooza. I heard about myself and wanted to check it out. I live here in Beloit wisconsin. So it's the same for me if I go to kenosha or chicago.I am interested in going for the same reasons you all are. They have a website up and running for it. I would like to see maybe CPRS get a booth there. If anyones interested.

I don't think abooth s necessarily the way to go for us now. Of course, I could be wrong. I think we should just hvesome f us go up there and obviously network and see what they're about. Any other opinions?

I agree we've been down this ave. before with the ghost confrence. At this point we do not have enough backround as of yet to set up our own booth at these things yet.
This does not mean however we should not go prepared with business cards as we will be networking with other groups. This is something we should wear our shirts to to anounce that we are indeed a group.
Mike since you brought this up do you want to take responsibilty for grouping this together? If you need help making plans for this let me know I am willing to help out on this.

Caroline,
Can you please send me the file for the new logo so that I can put in another order for the business cards so we have them in time for this?

I agree with what everyone is saying. Let's do this Scooby-doo style-break up in teams, network and then meet back at the haunted amusement park. Oh wait, that was a Scooby doo episode.
You all get the picture either way. I should be able to make it for this as well. I will check my calendar when I am back at work Tuesday. Happy Paddy's day (or as said in Irish: An lá de Padráig shona duít!)

Well, we can either go as a group and I believe it would be free. Or, go individually and pay $7 at the door. I'll look into this further soon. I'll set it all up, but I need to know by mid-april who is going to attend.

So far...
Colleen Cece Mike Shaun Kristen Doug Caroline Jen E.
Looks like we already have enough for a decent showing...I'm sure others will sign up soon as well. In fact we can even make this a Meetup event since it would be open to all. It would be cool if we had more than just our monthly meetings on the Meetup calender to show just how active we are.

We'll definitely need to get that next batch of t-shirts ordered ASAP then, so that Shaun can have one to wear, unless Tim still has any left from the first run. . .
Kristen- are you planning on ordering the business cards with names this time? I think that's a good plan, since the blank ones seem kindof weird. . . it takes the thunder out of having cards, I think.
