Hi everyone,
I got the new IR camera system back today and everything works great on it. We have 4 wireless IR cameras that can be connected to individual monitors in case we can only use one or two at a time or we can use the video card that can add them all to a computer screen and use the software. Everything has been tested and it's a go.
Now, we wont be able to use the cameras unless we are in a place that has power where we can run it. Each camera has a 450-550 foot (150M) receiving range to the receiver unit, but the issue is that each camera has to be plugged into a power source. The cool thing is we can put them in various rooms in wall sockets and then be located in a master control area 500 feet away, with a monitor bank or a compter with the video car and receiving unit.
The portable power supply that Doug suggested would be the next obvious choice for our purchase. The issue also is that with these cameras we are still going to have to run lots of cable..and lots of power strips....but thats olay...it will all look cooler at a house investigation then what it actually is ;D

LOL Colleen
I have a 19" LCD monitor that I can bring with whenever I go on an investigation with the DVR...unfortunately it is usually connected to my PC so I can only bring it when I go since otherwise I need it at home to keep me sane...
Tim, you have the ability to split the screen 4-ways, right?
